efited me professionally. The scholarship allowed me to attend my
first International Women in Aviation Conference in Orlando, Florida, in 2009, and there I
experienced a truly grand event. It also further opened up doors to ICAO to which I would
never otherwise have had access. In fact, in addition to the
scholarship training I received, I was given the opportunity to
attend ICAO’s first Next Generation of Aviation Profes-
sionals Symposium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, im-
mediately following the WAI Conference.
